Health and Medical Business Cards
The health and medical business industry is booming, which means a serious challenge is clearly communicating your niche services. Fraught with technical jargon and language, you can quickly lose a potential customer if your health and medical business cards are not laser focused. Therefore, consider these tips when designing your card so that they work for you long after you hand them out.
Logos
The front of your business card should be as simple as possible. If you have a logo, definitely include it here. If you are part of multiple professional organizations, be very careful about using their logos without permission. Another point is that you do not want to water down your brand. Unless the professional associations are a critical selling point, just keep your business card simple.
Basic Information
Avoid too much contact information. A common mistake is to include too many phone numbers, such as fax lines, secondary and tertiary phone lines, and even multiple email addresses. Give your customers a single point of contact for each type: one phone, email address, and office location. Keep in mind that you do not have too much space to use on your business card. You may have to reduce font sizes or risk having so much information that your card becomes unreadable if not careful.
Use the Back
If you do need to include extra details, the back of the card is an excellent option. You can fit approximately 100 words using 10pt font on the back of the card. This is plenty of room for those logos for the professional associations, or details regarding your specialty. Health and medical business cards should have enough information that the customer understands your services, but if you can’t fit it on the front, just use the back. The cost is minimal, but the payoff for a clear front of your card could be priceless.
