Premium Poster Printing That Grabs Attention & Gets the Word Out

Using custom posters is a cost-effective, versatile, and highly visible way to promote brands, events, personal projects, and campaigns. With eye-catching and artistic design, they can also serve as wall decor and personalized gifts.

Standard Poster Sizes: Combining Visibility and Impact

Using standard poster sizes offers multiple practical advantages, including compatibility with common frames and stands and lower printing costs than custom sizes.

  • 11” x 17” or Tabloid Size. As the smallest standard size, it works well if you need posters that are compact, easy to distribute, and readable at arm’s length. It is best for small-scale promotions, indoor displays, menus, flyers, and simple announcements.
  • 18” x 24”  or Medium Size. A versatile size that balances visibility and portability, it draws attention without overwhelming the space. Medium-sized posters are ideal for retail promotions, community announcements, and local event promotions.
  • 24” x 36” or Large Size. It’s the perfect size for maximum visibility and bold graphics that need to stand out in busy or crowded areas. Movie posters, large political campaigns, and high-impact advertising often choose this standard size.

Posters FAQs

How soon can I expect my posters to arrive?

Your order can be ready after 1 business day. The turnaround time you choose indicates how long the order will be produced. It does not include the shipping transit time or direct mail processing time. To find out when your order will arrive, input your ZIP code under the Get Shipping Estimate link. Customers based in Dallas and Fort Worth can expect a faster shipping turnaround.

Which of the coatings provide ample protection for my poster design?

The matte and gloss coatings both provide additional protection. The matte finish is fingerprint-resistant while the gloss is best for posters that will be seen from a distance.

The high gloss UV coating is better for outdoor displays as it is water-resistant & offers the highest shine.

Does the coating affect how a poster looks?

Yes, the overall appearance of your poster design depends on its coating. In general, choose matte if readability is your top priority (because it creates a non-reflective surface); gloss if you want just a bit of shine and vibrancy; and high gloss when you want maximum visual impact and don’t mind glare.

What is the fastest turnaround time for custom printing posters?

You can print more than 1,000 posters on the same day of your order. This is the fastest production time offered.

If you need more time but require immediate production, you can opt to print your posters in 1 business day

What is the recommended size for posters?

Small: 11"x 17"?is recommended for small spaces like your community bulletin board.

Medium: 18" x 24"?works best for image-heavy or visual promotions of new products or major announcements for your company.

Large: 24" x 36"?is commonly seen in outdoor venues. As the largest size, it can easily call attention from a distance.

How much does it cost to print a poster?

The larger your order quantity, the smaller the price per poster. If you order 2,000 pieces, you can print 8.5" x 11" posters for only 9 cents each.

What is the best resolution for a printed poster?

Your artwork should be 300 dpi in full size.?Do not?expand the image at a resolution lower than this; otherwise, it will appear blurry when printed.

Savvy Marketing Ideas for Your Poster Printing

Not quite sure how to approach your poster’s design and its role in the overall marketing campaign? Here are some key tips to remember as you plan, execute, and disseminate the custom posters.

  • The simpler, the better. No one wants to look at a poster with too many words or clashing colors. Make sure all the elements lead the reader to the important details of your announcement. Stick to one image or visual as your central element.
  • Keep the colors consistent. Bright and bold colors are more likely to draw attention. But the choice of hues will depend on the poster’s subject in the first place. A business event shouldn’t use loud colors like yellow, but a festive event like a concert can.
  • Visualize where the poster will be displayed. As you plan & adjust the design, take into account how it will appear in the intended display areas such as walls or store windows. Large posters in public spaces or high traffic areas should have colors and images that call attention even from afar.
