16 pt. cardstock is the thickest in terms of paper weight with a coating that provides the most protection.

Turnaround refers to the number of business days it will take for us to print your postcard. National holidays are excluded from the turnaround time.

No, shipping transit time and direct mail processing time are not included in the printing turnaround time for postcards.

You can choose to have your postcard printed as fast as the same day or in one business day.

Convert your design file from RGB to CMYK and adjust the color changes accordingly. While RGB setting works best for presenting digital images, print products are optimized for CMYK. Also, choose an appropriate finish for your postcards to ensure accurate colors in printing.

Yes. Our postcards are made to be mailed without envelopes, though they may experience some minor wear in sorting and changing weather. Using thicker cardstock like the 14 pt., 16 pt., and 17 pt. are the best ways to mail postcards without envelopes.

We accept a minimum font size of 5 pt, but things like font style, colors, and cardstock can affect how well your text prints. To make your text easier to read, try using Sans Serif fonts, pick high-contrast text colors, and use strokes and lines that are at least 0.25 pt thick. If you need help with your text, feel free to message our prepress team when you submit your first draft.

Yes. You can upload multiple designs in a single order, provided they have different filenames. You can also modify each postcard design’s size, paper type, coating, and finish. Each design will be treated as a different postcard and separated accordingly.

You can use our free layout templates, which include proper front and back margins for alignment. The templates are marked with safe zones, bleed lines, and trim lines that fit properly with your postcard size.

When designing, please mark which side is the front and which is the back. You should also request a free proof to double-check the sizes, alignment, and orientation before printing.

We do not automatically add the address and stamp areas to the postcard. These appear only if you select a mailing-ready template or choose our direct mailing service. If you design the postcard, leave a 2" x 4" white space on the back for the address. Prepare your file in landscape to match the mailing template. Place the indicia on the open side, unless you’ve coordinated other instructions with our Mailing team.

You have to determine the type of postcard you are mailing. Standard sizes like 4" x 6" or 5" x 7" work best for direct mail, while postcards near the 6.125" x 11.5" size range are used for EDDM.

For the finish, consider the postcard design and cardstock. Gloss, matte, and UV coating work best for 14 pt. and 16 pt. postcards, while 17 pt. cardstock is usually uncoated. The finish also affects durability and mailing without envelopes.
