Benefits of Printing LetterHeads
Printing your letterhead in full color enhances your brand identity and reinforces your marketing message. Differentiate from typical one or two color letterhead by simulating a custom watermark, adding a design to the back side, or anything else you can dream up. Complete the effect by adding a full color envelope and mailing label to create a fully customized professional stationery package. For personal correspondence, create your own customized stationery set using our full color note cards and matching A6 or A7 envelopes.
A complete brand identity package always includes letterheads. Invoices, receipts, or any formal correspondence should always be printed on company letterheads so your customers will know who sent them a letter. PrintPlace.com offers letterhead printing so your logo and contact information are delivered to your customers in bright, vivid color.

Basic Information
Letterheads should always include a logo and basic contact information. Most businesses divide the content of letterheads between a header (at the top) and the footer (at the bottom). By breaking the information into parts, you leave more room on the bulk of your page for the content of your letter. Backgrounds should be subtle so that your content remains readable.
The header typically contains the logo, color scheme, and basic contact information. The size of the header can vary from .5” to 3”. Use the far left, center, and far right for information and try to leave some space between each item of information; otherwise, your header can look cluttered and crammed. As a final note, try to avoid using fonts smaller than 8pt so that the reader will have no problem reading the information.
The footer can also include basic contact information, but more formal copyright, business entity, and disclaimers are also reserved for the footer. Once again, use no smaller than an 8pt font. Consider including color themes in the footer, such as a hairline bar, separating the footer from the body content, as this can tie the brand together across the page.
Background images are a great way to add spice to your letterhead printing, but keep it subtle. If backgrounds are too intense, your copy may not be readable. Imagine black text across a dark gray or red image in the background – as text runs across the background image it can become nearly invisible in these examples.
