Customize Your Flyers to Match Your Needs
We print our flyers on various paper and cardstock options. The material you choose directly affects how your flyer is perceived, as well as its durability and feel.
Our extensive cardstock options ensure you can always find something that aligns with your marketing goals, budget, and brand aesthetic.
- 70 lb. paper is our lightest, most flexible option.
- 80 lb. paper is as thick as magazine paper.
- 100 lb. paper has the same thickness as art or coffee table book paper.
- 10 pt. cardstock is a lightweight, durable choice.
- 14 pt. cardstock is foldable, but slightly thicker.
- 16 pt. cardstock is the thickest, most durable option available.
Our custom flyers are available in popular sizes, including compact options like 4” x 6” and 7” x 5” that are ideal for hand-to-hand distribution, and larger sizes such as 8.5” x 11” and 11” x 17 that suit thicker cardstock and premium branding. However, you can customize the size of your flyer if you have unique branding or design needs.
Premium Finishes in Flyer Printing
Using special finishes for flyers helps them stand out, feel more premium, and leave a stronger impression. They directly affect how people perceive and respond to your message.
These are the most popular special finishes and their common uses.
- Spot UV is a shiny, reflective coating applied to specific areas of a flyer to make important elements (e.g., logos, headlines, or images) stand out.
- Metallic foil creates a shiny, metallic accent that comes in various colors, including copper, gold, silver, black, blue, and red. This finish signals luxury and exclusivity, so it is often used by beauty, high-end property, and fashion brands.
- Matte finish is ideal if readability is your top priority. Its non-shiny, smooth surface delivers a sophisticated, subtle feel.
- Gloss finish makes photos and colors pop, making this ideal if you want your flyers to have a stronger visual impact.
- High gloss creates a very shiny effect, almost similar to a mirror. This finish is perfect for bold designs and high-energy brands.
Frequently Asked Questions About Flyer Printing
The best material matches your goal, budget, and distribution method. More flexible and lighter paper options, like 70 lb. and 80 lb., suit most large-volume distribution campaigns, while 14 pt. and 16 pt. cardstock options are great for premium branding because they feel thicker and more substantial.
The ideal flyer size depends primarily on your design and content. But for most marketing campaigns, standard sizes such as 8.5” x 11” and 4” x 6” are excellent formats.
Identify the areas on your artwork that will be printed in metallic. Metallic accent works best on lighter colors, as its shine isn’t as noticeable on darker hues. Next, create a file containing only the areas with metallic accents, ensuring their positions match those in your CMYK file. Then, create a separate file where all selected areas are colored 100% K. Give this file a name indicating its special finish (e.g., Flyer_Metallic).
If you send and approve your file by noon CST, your flyers can be printed on the same business day as you order them. Print turnaround time excludes holidays, weekends, and shipping time.
