A cardboard carton box is made from thick paper stock or heavy paper pulp and is ideal for small and lightweight products. A corrugated box, on the other hand, is composed of three layers of materials. The outer and inner layers are flat while the middle layer is fluted or wave-shaped, which enhances the strength of the box. A corrugated box is highly durable and has a larger weight capacity than a cardboard box, so it’s suitable for shipping heavy products and multiple items.
