All you need to do is select your delivery routes and dates, and we'll handle everything else — postcard printing, processing, bundling, and delivery to the post office.

Our Full Service EDDM also comes with a wide range of customization options, allowing you to choose from different postcard sizes and materials to suit your marketing goals and budget.

How to Customize Your EDDM® Postcards

Select from four USPS-approved sizes to suit various marketing goals and budgets.

Our standard postcard size is 6.5” x 9”, which is a popular choice for both business and personal use. The 6.5” x 8”, meanwhile, is an excellent option for simple greetings and short messages.

Elevate your postcards with the right lamination.

Choose from these three types of coating: matte, gloss, and high gloss UV. The ideal choice depends on the desired look and feel, the type of cardstock, and how the postcards will be used:

Matte gives postcards a flat, non-reflective surface that doesn't interfere with readability, making it ideal for text-heavy designs and postcards intended for writing.
Gloss creates a reflective surface, making colors, especially darker ones, appear more vibrant and eye-catching.
High gloss UV offers the highest glare and brightest finish, almost similar to a mirror, creating a dramatic visual effect.

Choose between 14 pt. And 16 pt. cardstock options.

"Pt." stands for "point," which is a unit of measurement for paper thickness. The 14 pt. cardstock is ideal if you need something more flexible and affordable for mass distribution, while the 16 pt. cardstock is a better option if you're aiming for a more premium look and feel.

Print Dual-Purpose Postcards

Your EDDM® postcards can also serve as discount coupons, business cards, or event tickets if you add tear-off perforations.

If you have a print-ready file on hand, select “Upload Now” to send the file directly to our site. The preferred formats are PDF, PSD, PUB, AI, TIFF, and JPEG.

If you're opting to create a design, simply indicate the specifications on the online calculator before choosing "Design Online." The online design tool will load on your browser and show a blank canvas in your selected size.

EDDM® Postcards FAQ

Does my EDDM® postcard need a return address?

Yes, you need to indicate your company’s physical address or a P.O. box on the postcard. EDDM® direct mail services require that the return address is indicated on the top left corner.

Will it qualify for EDDM® if it has a fold?

No, but you can add tear-off perforations if you want your postcards to also serve as vouchers, business cards, or event tickets.

What’s the main difference between Full Service EDDM and direct mail?

Both services allow you to reach your local target audience. However, Full Service EDDM is a more convenient option because you don’t have to provide us with a mailing list or apply for a postage permit. By contrast, direct mail requires having your own list of addresses, doing all the paperwork, and delivering the postcards to the post office.
